About Datawall

From a UW hackathon win to building the dominant platform in workflow automation. We're execution-first and workflow-native.

Our Origin

From Hackathon to AI Lab

Datawall started in a dorm room that doubled as a mini datacenter. We built a voice AI solution for intake processes at the University of Washington's hackathon—and won. But we quickly realized voice AI was just the beginning.

Voice AI can perfect the intake process, but real value is created only when the work is actually carried out. That insight led us to Training & Execution: what if AI could learn workflows by watching, then execute them at scale?

That question became Brend—your brainy friend for workflow automation. Record your screen as you work. Brend learns your workflows in real time, then applies that knowledge to execute tasks accurately and consistently at scale.

Our Vision

Building the Future

Training & Execution gets us 90% of the way there. Now we're focused on Strategy & Development: leveraging the data Brend generates to help leadership refine strategy, improve processes, and make smarter decisions over time.

We don't use external models or APIs—our AI (brend-assistant-v3) is trained in-house on over 10.5TB of accumulated workflow and knowledge data. We build our own infrastructure, our own models, our own future.

What We Believe

Software scales. Humans don't.

Human-driven operations scale slowly and expensively with natural growth limits. Software scales instantly. We're building tools that let small teams accomplish what once required entire departments.

Execution speed compounds advantage.

Faster execution leads to better outcomes, tighter feedback loops, and compounding efficiency gains. Every day you wait to automate is a day your competitors are pulling ahead.

The economics are irreversible.

As AI execution costs trend toward zero, manual execution becomes increasingly uncompetitive. The question isn't whether to adopt intelligent automation—it's how quickly you can do it.
